Therapeutic Nutritional Consultations

Tara Carpenter, NC.

Nutrition Consultant helping people regain gut microbiome after yeast, bacteria, and viral infections.

National Human Genome Research Institute defines microbiome as a community of microorganisms (fungi, bacteria, viruses) that exist in or on a particular part of the body or environment such as he skin or gastrointestinal tract. These groups of microorganisms are dynamic; change in response to a host of factors (exercise, diet, medicine).

When you find something that works and brings lasting positive change you may want to climb the rooftop and sing praises! This is exactly how I felt discovering Body Ecology Diet (B.E.D.), a foundational system of health that healed my stubborn systemic yeast infection without using antibiotics. Now, as a Nutrition Consultant I help people heal from yeast, bacteria, and viral-related health conditions (Candidiasis, Group B Strep +, gastroenteritis) with holistic nutritional consultations conducted remotely for all ages, including mothers of young children.

I followed various eating regimes and most impressed with Tara who incorporates principles that work in a seamless, harmonious manner. Jenny, MI.

Slow and steady wins the race.

Real change often happens one step at a time, especially true when you change the way you eat, which ultimately changes how you live. Each person must navigate a unique time of waiting as the body kicks into gear as a self-healing organism.

Three months +/- is the average amount of time most people remain on a stringent stage of therapeutic eating designed to coax the body’s healing process. Typically, the longer you have a health issue, the longer to heal.

Her consultations are informative, like chatting over tea, her words heartwarming. I feel safe and trust her. Important if making life changes! ~KL, Tasmania

Heal at your own pace.

Some people dive into new things swiftly in one go; others tiptoe in until fully submerged. No matter where you are in your healing I help be in charge of the pace you set. You are the captain of your ship in full charge and awareness of how you utilize any nutritional and lifestyle guidance received. I can work in partnership with your health-care provider(s).

I set a slow, steady pace aware of the whole of you. Maybe you have young kids or work full-time. Maybe you are an athlete or suffered so long you are simply weary to begin. I provide ample time to integrate your experience and am perceptive, meticulously thorough; moving step-by-step to bring in calm and order.

I make recipes from a therapeutic meal plan that Tara created for me, like carrot muffins, and am ready to go full steam with another consultation; I knew life would improve when I found you. ~ BC, FL.

I am here to help you feel better.

I address complications, answer questions, smooth out kinks as they arise …. I am adept with various diets including: Paleo, Eat 4 Blood Type, Weston Price, FODMAP, GAPS, Specific Carbohydrate Diet, and B.E.D..

Changing how you eat will change how you live, especially long-time habits and patterns. This shift often causes a temporary disruption while you pull things together to walk your walk. During this vulnerable period you might feel overwhelmed, alone, even hungry(!). This is the time to reach out and ask for the support you need. This is when I am called upon most.

Tara fine-tuned my dietary healing experience at a comfortable pace that I could keep up with. ~ LC, Iowa
