Therapeutic Chef

Therapeutic Chef

Tara Carpenter, NC.

Nutrition Consultant specialized in creating digestive strength.

I no longer offer a therapeutic chef service; please consider meeting with me for a nutritional consultation.

Since 1996, I have worked as a Therapeutic Chef to help people heal mild to severe health conditions using food as a main constituent. As such, I turn traditional, nutrient-dense ingredients into nourishing, easy-to-digest meals known to promote health and well-being. If a person is facing an end-of-life terminal prognosis then I cook with more discipline, even if only to lessen difficult symptoms and help a person feel more comfortable.

You are in good hands with Tara ~ J.S., Worcester, VT.

Whole food is medicinal in nature and has the ability to bring minerals, vitamins, fatty acids, etc. deep into the body. Everyone wants to feel good and move through life with less effort and more health. I have spent years dedicating myself to helping people feel better during times of being un-well. To me, therapeutic food is a valuable tool, a way to find, sometimes even maintain, balance in the body (homeostasis).

Therapeutic cooking is one tool I use in my holistic nutritional approach to healing. Many clients prefer whole food as medicine vs. prescribed drugs which can come with unwanted side effects. This isn’t always possible.

Tara individualizes nutritional needs to the dot; without a doubt I recommend her as you convert to a healthy lifestyle while leading a busy life ~ K.B., Montpelier, VT.
