Cannabis Cacao Capsules

My morning apple with nut butter and a hot cup of tea was joined by a couple of capsules fresh filled with warm cacao butter. I woke at dawn to fill capsules to the sounds of birds waking up outside while my family continued to sleep deeply. My kitchen peaceful with the day coming alive …. an hour later I was fueled from remnants left on my fingers from the capsule making process. A flood of relaxation rippled through my body and two more capsules later felt myself breathe out.

Getting Men Into B.E.D (Body Ecology Diet)

I interviewed my husband, Tomas, to help other couples like ourselves better understand each other when one, or both, is healing with The Body Ecology Diet (B.E.D.). When I met Tomas in 2011, I was a year into stage 1 to clear a stubborn case of systemic yeast overgrowth.

I was nervous to be re-exposed to the yeast/bacteria I had spent the past year effectively ridding from my body. I wanted only to go forward in my health and had worked so incredibly hard to bring myself into balance.

I was a single mom working as a therapeutic chef going to graduate school to become a Holistic Nutritionist. I was busy. Working in a man’s health and diet needs was a strain I would do again in a heartbeat. Eating the body ecology way brought us into a balance that I wish the same for you and your own intimate relationship.

Watermelon Popsicles for FUN

I hesitated to write this recipe because it’s so simple. Yet, we don’t bring our basket of cookie cutters down off the shelf everyday and I got some photos, so here goes an easy-to-make recipe.

True to name, watermelon is an excellent source of water …. one cup contains 20% of your daily value of vitamin C and 14% for vitamin A. Watermelon also has a lower calorie content than most fruit; delivering more nutrients per calorie.
